Centreville Robotics, now Aegis Robotics, at the 2017 Saint Louis World Championship from April 26th to 29th.

Team Goal

Centreville Robotics aspires to spread STEM and FIRST throughout the community. The team takes pride in introducing students to STEM and encouraging them to pursue STEM related fields after graduation. The team also works heavily within the Centreville community, establishing FIRST teams in feeder middle and elementary schools, working with local companies such as STEM exCEL and Coding Dojo, as well as running annual STEM events.

Our History

The Centreville Robotics Organization began in the fall of 2013. 5243, our FRC team, first competed in 2014 at the Greater DC Regional. Since then, the team has participated in several Districts/Regional, the Chesapeake District Championship, and in the annual FIRST World Championship. Over the past few years, the organization has significantly expanded it's outreach efforts, with numerous local FIRST robotics teams, company partnerships, annual STEM events, and STEM Education lobbying efforts at Capitol Hill. The team prides itself on being student-run, with a notable emphasis on developing leadership and educating the future generation of STEM workers.
